About

A museum in Pune dedicated to the tribal communities of Maharashtra, run by the state's Tribal Research and Training Institute, showcasing artefacts, artwork, tools and lifestyle displays representing groups such as the Warli, Gond and Bhil communities. Exhibits include traditional Warli paintings, musical instruments and dioramas depicting tribal village life. The museum offers a rare, dedicated look at Maharashtra's indigenous cultures beyond its more prominent Maratha-era heritage sites. It remains closed on Sundays and alternate Saturdays.
