About
A landscaped garden in central Delhi built around the tombs of Sayyid and Lodi dynasty rulers from the 15th-16th centuries, including Mohammed Shah's Tomb and the Bara Gumbad. The gardens were redesigned in the 1930s-40s by British landscape architects into the manicured public park seen today. It remains one of Delhi's most popular spots for morning walks, joggers and picnickers amid centuries-old monuments. Entry is free and the park stays open long hours daily.
