About
A compact ASI museum beside the Amaravati Stupa, housing sculptures, urns and inscribed panels recovered from the site, offering the clearest surviving look at the limestone carving style that once decorated the stupa.
Did you know? The museum's collection includes a rare depiction of the Buddha represented only through symbols, such as footprints and an empty throne, from an early period of Buddhist art when showing his human form was considered inappropriate.
