About
A 17th-century monastery founded by a monk who reportedly survived on milk alone, earning him the name "Dudhadhari" (milk-sustained), later brought under the royal patronage of the Maratha rulers of Nagpur.
Did you know? The monastery's founder was popularly believed to survive solely on milk, and the title "Rajeshri," conferred on its head by the Maratha king of Nagpur, is still used by the monastery's leader today.
