About
A hilltop temple complex in Pune dedicated to Parvati, built in the 17th-18th century under Peshwa rule and reached by a flight of over a hundred stone steps. The complex includes temples to Devdeveshwar (Shiva-Parvati), Vishnu and Kartikeya, along with a small museum of Peshwa-era artefacts. From the summit, visitors get sweeping views over Pune city. It remains both an active place of worship and a popular vantage point for sunrise and sunset.
