About
One of Bengaluru's oldest and largest public parks, laid out in 1870 under British Commissioner Sir Richard Sankey and named after Lord Cubbon, a former administrator of the Mysore princely state. The 100-acre park is home to century-old rain trees, several government buildings including the High Court, and a scattering of colonial-era statues and pavilions. It functions as the green lung of central Bengaluru, connecting several of the city's major heritage landmarks on foot. Entry is free and unrestricted at all hours.
